ICG Names Tim Rayl Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Newport News, VA, October 8, 2014 — ICG (International Communications Group, Inc.) has announced the appointment of Tim Rayl to the position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for ICG. In his new role he will be responsible for leading ICG’s Sales and Marketing efforts to bring new and innovative communications solutions to market across all industry segments. Over the years ICG has carved out world class positions with its FANS over Iridium solutions as well as emerging IFE and connectivity systems and his efforts will focus around pioneering new and previously uncharted sales and marketing strategies for ICG.

With a degree in aviation technology from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Iowa, Rayl has more than 29 years of experience in the industry. He holds a private pilot’s license as well as an airframe and power plant mechanic’s certificates. Prior to joining ICG he worked for 28 years at Rockwell Collins beginning as a systems engineer and progressing into product line and program management, then into marketing and sales leadership where he eventually became Senior Director of Sales. Most recently, he served as a Director of Sales and Marketing at Cobham Avionics in Prescott, Arizona. He has been featured in numerous aviation industry publications.
