NATA Statement on the Announcement that TSA Administrator Pistole is Retiring from Public Service

NATA deeply appreciates Administrator Pistole’s service to the country and applauds his devotion to the safety and security of our transportation systems.

Alexandria, VA, October 16, 2014 – The following is a statement by National Air Transportation Association President and CEO Thomas L. Hendricks on the announcement that TSA Administrator John Pistole is retiring from public service:

His efforts in advancing risk-based security have made great improvements in the effectiveness and efficiency at our Nation’s airports.
