Spirit Aeronautics Receives 10th FAA Aircraft for Interior Refurbishment

October 10, 2014, Columbus, Ohio … Spirit Aeronautics, a world class leader in business aircraft services, achieved another significant milestone with acceptance of the 10th Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) KingAir B300 aircraft for avionics upgrades and interior refurbishment as part of a 17 aircraft commitment.

“Customer fulfillment is the hallmark of our Customer Centric Care initiative,” said Tony Bailey, President and COO of Spirit Aeronautics. “The result of our pledge is that we consistently deliver refurbished and modified aircraft to our customer’s on-time or early and on-budget which has been demonstrated year-after-year with the FAA contract. We may be smaller than some of our competitors but we are doing big things for our customers.”

About the FAA KingAir B300 Aircraft Modernization Project  

In December 2010, Spirit was awarded the contract to complete the design, certification, refurbishment, and upgrade of 17 FAA B300 KingAir aircraft which includes new LED lighting, engineering, project management, headliners, seats, sidewalls, cabinets, and noise reduction insulation.
