Richard Wuensche Joins KING AEROSPACE Commercial Corporation as Vice President of Operations

Wuensche brings more than 30 years of aviation experience to KACC.

DALLAS, September 30, 2014 – KING AEROSPACE Commercial Corporation (KACC), a leading aircraft services provider, announces industry veteran Richard Wuensche has joined the company as Vice President of Operations. He will oversee operations for VVIP completions, modifications, refurbishments, maintenance and paint at KACC’s 200,000-square-foot, FAA-certified facility in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Wuensche brings more than 30 years of aviation experience to KACC. He has extensive airframe experience including Boeing 727, 737, 757, 787, 747-8; Airbus 319, 320, 330, 340-500 as well as numerous models of other aircraft including Bombardier Challenger, Embraer, Gulfstream, Hawker Beechcraft, Learjet and McDonnell Douglas.

Prior to joining KACC, Wuensche served as Director of Operations at Associated Air Center where he oversaw VVIP completions, including work on Head of State 747-8 and 787 as well as private A330 aircraft. He was promoted to this position by Associated Air Center after serving as Senior Manager of Avionics/Systems. Prior to joining Associated Air Center, Wuensche was Avionics manager at Gore Design Ltd. Before joining Gore, he gained increased levels of responsibility and experience with firms including General Dynamics, BHM Avionics, Aircraft Interior Services, Eagle One Aviation and Boeing Aircraft Company.

Wuensche is a 12-year veteran of the U.S. Navy where he was an Armament Systems Instructor and, previously, a Maintenance Control Administrator aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Nimitz during Operation Desert Storm. He also served as a Lead Instructor and Course Manager for the Navy’s Leadership and Development Program.
