Spirit Aeronautics Appoints William (Bill) Highfill as Director of Maintenance

Highfill joins Spirit Aeronautics after gaining over 17 years of experience with increasing responsibility at various companies

Spirit Aeronautics a trade name of Spirit Avionics, Ltd, based in Columbus, Ohio is proud to announce the appointment of William (Bill) Highfill to the Director of Maintenance position where he will be responsible for the production elements of Spirit Aeronautics aircraft maintenance, avionics, and interior refurbishment operations.

Mr. Highfill joins Spirit Aeronautics after gaining over 17 years of experience with increasing responsibility at various companies including Gulfstream Aerospace, Indianapolis Jet Center (now Comlux Aviation Services) and ARINC, Inc. Prior senior positions include Director of Maintenance, General Manager and Senior Operations Manager. Mr. Highfill graduated Embry-Riddle University where he studied Business Aviation Maintenance Management and Aviation Maintenance Technology. Mr. Highfill is a licensed FAA A&P Mechanic and member of Lambda Chi Alpha.
