Logan Teleflex Awarded A Multi Million Dollar Baggage Handling System Contract At Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport

LOUISVILLE, KY.  (September 02, 2014) -Logan Teleflex, Inc. - a subsidiary of Daifuku Webb Holding Company and a leading provider of airport baggage handling solutions - announced today a multi-million dollar baggage handling project at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) in Anchorage, Alaska.

The multi-phased project is expected to be completed by April 2016.  The contract includes upgrades and modifications to the existing checked baggage inspection system, serving Concourse C and the North Terminal at ANC. The details of the project include:

*     recapitalization of the existing explosive detection system machines to current generation equipment

*     upgrades to the baggage handling system

*     expansion of the checked baggage resolution area

*     alterations to architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical building systems

Logan Teleflex has worked with ANC on several long-term projects, including a fully automated In-Line baggage handling system (BHS) for Terminal C in 2003, a fully automated In-Line BHS for terminal AB in 2010, and a fully automated In-Line BHS screening system in 2011for North Terminal.
