LMI Aerospace Hits Milestone - Celebrates 2,000th Crew Floor

The Crew Floor shipped August 19 to longtime customer Spirit Aerosystems and the company held a celebration to mark this milestone on August 21 in Cottonwood Falls, KS.

ST. LOUIS, Aug. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- LMI Aerospace, Inc. (Nasdaq: LMIA), announces the completion of their 2000th Cockpit Crew Floor for the Boeing 737. The Crew Floor shipped August 19 to longtime customer Spirit Aerosystems and the company held a celebration to mark this milestone on August 21 in Cottonwood Falls, KS.   

"We recognize the hard work and dedication from our employees to make this milestone happen," says Chief Executive Officer Dan Korte. "We are currently at a rate of 42 crew floors per month and we anticipate going to 47 by 2017."
