Amari Aerospace was presented with the SC21 Bronze Award at the recent Farnborough Airshow.
The presentation was made in the busy Media Centre before an invited audience of over 250 representatives from leading aerospace manufacturers and suppliers.
SC21 is a change programme designed to accelerate the competitiveness of the aerospace & defence industry by raising the performance of its supply chains. International competition, together with the challenges posed by the defence industrial strategy, necessitates rapid improvement in the effectiveness of supply chains. At the same time, industry must ensure that it delivers competitive solutions for customers whilst maintaining profitable business growth.
David Enright, General Manager of Amari Aerospace accepted the award from Ross Harrison from Rolls Royce Controls and Data Services (CDS), the company’s SC21 sponsor and was joined by Tim Holmes, Supplier Development Manager and Phil Curnock, SC21 Project Manager for the ADS.
Commenting on the award, David Enright said: “This award is the result of many months of hard work by the team at Amari Aerospace and marks another step on our journey of continued improvement. I would like to express my thanks to Ross Harrison and the Profit Through Partnership team for all of their support and encouragement over the last year and look forward to an even closer working relationship as we move forward.”
