Oshkosh, WI, July 28, 2014—

Pilots the world over seeking an EASA Light Aircraft Pilot License (LAPL), Private Pilot License (PPL) or Night Rating certification now can study for their knowledge tests using an iPad training app available from King Schools.

The new iPad learning platform was developed in partnership with EuroPilot Center and includes courses and exam trainers. It is titled E-gle (EASA-Guided Learning Experience) and the course material is fully EASA compliant, containing all required learning objectives.

The E-gle iPad app is available for free download by searching for “E-gle” in the App Store and includes demo versions of all PPL modules. Full modules are purchasable from within the app. Each module matches one of the nine EASA knowledge tests required for the PPL plus the Night Rating. In addition, aspiring pilots can purchase a full-featured exam trainer to ensure they are ready for each exam.

“We are excited to address the needs of aspiring European pilots with courses that utilize iPad technology to simplify, clarify and make pilot learning fun,” John King commented. “In the future, we will continue to add courses to the E-gle platform to support all European pilot licenses,” he added.

“EuroPilot Center has years of experience training pilots to JAA and EASA standards and has ensured the courses are in accordance with AMC 1. FCL.210; FCL.215, Subpart C - Syllabus for the courses of theoretical knowledge for the PPL. EuroPilot Center’s experience and technical expertise makes them a perfect partner to address the needs of pilots seeking European certification,” said Martha King. “We especially like that pilots can download the app for free and try out demos of each course module before purchasing,” she concluded.
