AJ Walter will be entitled to repair designated Thales components at their Montreal facility and will have access to Thales’s repair facilities and dedicated support teams in France, USA and Singapore.

Thales and AJ Walter Group (AJW) have signed a partnership agreement for the repair of avionics equipment on Airbus and Boeing Single Aisle/Long Range aircraft.

This industrial sharing partnership establishes the two organisations as true worldwide partners pre-defining AJ Walter and Thales remits and respective exclusivity on repair packages per equipment line.

AJ Walter will be entitled to repair designated Thales components at their Montreal facility and will have access to Thales’s repair facilities and dedicated support teams in France, USA and Singapore, to deliver the high volumes of LRUs (line replaceable units) and SRUs (shop replaceable units) repairs flowing from AJW Aviation. Thales will benefit from extra repair flow from AJW on designated repair packages.

François Piolet, Thales Vice President & General Manager EUMEA Avionics Services Worldwide commented that: “This agreement demonstrates Thales’s willingness to secure valuable Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO) partnerships. The agreement signed with AJ Walter is based on a business model that will bring growth to both parties involved.”
