It has named Quality Aircraft Accessories of Tulsa, Oklahoma, as the first of a planned network of Recommended Service Facilities (RSFs).

Montgomery, AL, July 15, 2014  — Representatives of Hartzell Engine Technologies LLC, announced today that the company has named Quality Aircraft Accessories of Tulsa, Oklahoma as the first of a planned network of Recommended Service Facilities (RSFs).

“We are introducing our Recommended Service Facilities program to give aircraft owner/operators who fly with our equipment a pre-approved network of shops that have the training, tools, and commitment to quality necessary to ensure that these customers get the highest level of repair and overhaul services for their units,” stated Mike Disbrow, president of Hartzell Engine Technologies (HET). “We are very proud to introduce Quality Aircraft Accessories as the first authorized RSF shop for turbocharger systems.”

Disbrow said that joining Hartzell’s RSF network takes more than signing an agreement and putting up a sign. “RSF network shops will be regularly audited, they have agreed to follow our manuals and will maintain the proper facilities with approved tools and equipment,” he said. “In addition, they will send their technicians for training and have agreed to only use genuine Hartzell replacement parts.”

“The benefits to the owners of our turbochargers are that they are assured that the RSFs will have the parts, tools and training to repair or overhaul their turbochargers to factory-approved specifications,” Disbrow said. “In addition, these shops are authorized to provide warranty repairs on our turbochargers.”

In addition, Disbrow said that Hartzell is also expanding its distribution network for factory-rebuilt turbochargers, pressure relief valves, controllers and wastegates.

“Along, with being available through our RSFs, customers can get our factory-rebuilt assemblies on an exchange basis through Aviall and our other major distributors worldwide,” he stated. “These factory-rebuilt assemblies are a great value, providing like-new quality at prices that are competitive to overhauls.”
