Pratt & Whitney Canada's PW150C Engine Selected to Power AVIC Xi'an Aircraft Company's New MA700 Regional Turboprop

PW150C turboprop engine leverages the success of its PW150A engine

LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - July 13, 2014) 

Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC), a United Technologies Corporation company (NYSE:UTX), today announced that its PW150C turboprop engine will power the new MA700 regional turboprop aircraft being launched by AVIC Xi'an Aircraft Company of China. This selection reinforces P&WC's global leadership in the regional turboprop segment and further extends P&WC's presence in China's rapidly growing aviation industry.
