Teterboro, NJ, June 19, 2014 – Meridian, the award-winning private aviation company based at Teterboro Airport (TEB), is pleased to announce the promotion of Anthony Banome to Director of Fuel Sales. In addition to his previous responsibilities for maintaining and growing volume of FBO fuel sales, Mr. Banome will also be charged with developing and executing the long-term fuel strategy for both the Meridian FBO and Charter businesses. This will include optimizing fuel cost savings for the Meridian Air Charter fleet, while also seeking strategic alliances with key vendor-partners to leverage efficiencies.
Mr. Banome began his career at Meridian in 2007 as a Customer Service Representative in the FBO. A few years later, he was given additional responsibilities for FBO fuel sales, a role which he grew into very quickly. In 2013, Anthony was a recipient of Airport Business magazine’s ‘40 Under Forty’, an annual award honoring the best and brightest individuals in the aviation industry.
