June 3, 2014 – Cabin Comfort Systems, a division of Mecaer Aviation Group (MAG), is expanding their capabilities to include helicopter customizing, refurbishment and maintenance services for third party operators.
Armando Sassoli, Co-General Manager of MAG commented, “Historically, MAG has had a great relationship with the manufacturers and we will continue to strengthen our partnerships with these OEM’s. We have completed over 1,400 helicopters since 2006 and additional luxury interiors will be certified with EASA and the FAA through the balance of this year and into 2015 – increasing the demand for VVIP platforms.”
In addition to expanding facilities and service centers in Hagerstown, MD and Philadelphia, PA MAG recently named Grayson Barrows as the Director of Marketing & Sales for its Cabin Comfort Systems division. Sassoli explained “Grayson’s responsibilities will include business development for new helicopter completions, pre-owned aircraft refurbishments and MRO services.”
Barrows is an accomplished rotor-wing and fixed-wing pilot with more than 3,000 hours, has a background in helicopter completions and a degree in Business Management from Ithaca College. Prior to joining MAG, Grayson worked in Marketing and Business Development for Evergreen Helicopters, Texas Aviation Services and Aviation Search Group.
