TUCSON, AZ – Scott Campbell, Universal Avionics’ Director of Airline and Military Sales, announced that Mr. Michael Choo has been appointed to the newly created position of Regional Sales Manager for Asia.
In this newly created role, Michael is responsible for Universal Avionics’ sales throughout Asia and Australia, including direct sales to Airline and Government customers. In addition, Michael is responsible for assisting Universal Avionics’ Authorized Dealer Network with sales in Business Aviation. Michael is based out of Singapore and is fluent in English, Chinese and Malay.
“Having a regionally based team positions Universal Avionics well for continued growth in this region,” said Scott Campbell. “Michael’s background and knowledge is an instrumental part of this growth,” he added.
Michael joins the company with an extensive background in avionics engineering, sales and support to both the Airline and Government industries that spans more than 30 years. His background includes C-130 flight and technical experience with the Republic of Singapore Air Force, engineering support at Silk Air and Singapore Technologies and over 10 years of sales and support at Rockwell Collins.
