Héroux-Devtek Appoints Andrew John Stevens as Director

Stevens brings extensive experience in corporate management in the global aerospace industry, including many years as senior executive of companies involved in landing gear design and manufacturing.

LONGUEUIL, QC, May 28, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Héroux-Devtek Inc. (TSX: HRX) ("Héroux-Devtek" or the "Corporation"), a leading Canadian manufacturer of aerospace products, announced today the appointment of Mr. Andrew John Stevens as Director of the Corporation. This appointment, which fills a vacant seat, is effective immediately. Mr. Stevens is a resident of the United Kingdom.

Mr. Stevens brings extensive experience in corporate management in the global aerospace industry, including many years as senior executive of companies involved in landing gear design and manufacturing. He spent nine years at Cobham plc, where he was successively Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer between 2005 and 2012. During those nine years, Mr. Stevens was also a member of Cobham plc's Board of Directors. Prior to that, he held senior executive positions with Rolls Royce plc, Messier Dowty International, Bowthorpe plc and Dowty Group plc.

A fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society and of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, Mr. Stevens holds a first class BSc Production Engineering degree and was also awarded an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Science in 2013. He is currently Chairman of AIM Aviation Ltd., as well as a member of the Board of Directors of De La Rue plc and CAE Inc.
