Aristides Ponjuan To Head Aero Technologies LLC And Air-Pro LLC MRO

Aristides Ponjuan appointed General Manager of Aero Technologies, covering also the MRO Product Line of Air-Pro, two subsidiaries of Aero Maintenance Group (AMG), spearheading the component maintenance business of AFI KLM E&M in the Americas.

Paris, Amstelveen, 28 May 2014 - Aristides Ponjuan has been appointed General Manager of Aero Technologies, covering also the MRO Product Line of Air-Pro, two subsidiaries of Aero Maintenance Group (AMG), spearheading the component maintenance business of AFI KLM E&M in the Americas.

Aristides Ponjuan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida International University, with concentrations in Management and International Business. He started out his MRO career in 1993 working for Caribe Aviation, while pursuing his Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) licenses. In 1994, he joined Med-Craft as a hydraulic and mechanical systems specialist, later being promoted to Quality System Manager and Chief Inspector. For the next decade he headed the company's Quality Organization. In 2010, Aristides Ponjuan was given responsibility for AAR Landing Gear Services prior to joining AMG in January 2014 as VP Quality and Operations for Aero Technologies and Air Pro MRO, of which he has now been appointed General Manager.

On learning of his appointment, Aristides Ponjuan said: "I am honored to have been entrusted with this new responsibility at AMG and AFI KLM E&M. I shall strive to leverage all the skills and knowledge acquired in the technical and quality fields over the 20-year span of my career to date to drive the success of our business."
