Jet Aviation MRO Facilities in EMEA and Asia Appointed Rolls-Royce Authorized Service Centers for BR710, BR725 and Tay engines

Zurich / Switzerland, May 22, 2014 – Jet Aviation Basel, Jet Aviation Geneva, Jet Aviation Moscow, Jet Aviation Dubai and Jet Aviation Singapore have been selected by Rolls-Royce to join its Authorized Service Center (ASC) network in EMEA and Asia. The appointments extend full service capabilities for BR710, BR725 and Tay engines.

Rolls-Royce announced its intention to expand its network of Authorized Service Centers at EBACE 2012. The manufacturer of aero engines for the corporate jet market has now appointed Jet Aviation’s MRO facilities across EMEA and Asia as Rolls-Royce Authorized Service Centers (ASCs). With these appointments, the Jet Aviation maintenance facilities in Basel, Geneva, Moscow, Dubai and Singapore are authorized to provide line maintenance and warranty support for the BR710, BR725 (Gulfstream G650) and Tay engines. The facilities will also receive support from Rolls-Royce, including on-site training, specific engine training, technical support and publications.

Rolls-Royce appointed Jet Aviation St Louis an ASC for BR710 engines in May 2012. The BR710 engine powers the Gulfstream GV, GV-SP, G500 and G550 and Bombardier's Global Express and Global 5000 large cabin business jet aircraft. Tay engines power the Gulfstream G350 and G450 business jets in addition to Fokker regional aircraft, and the BR725 engine powers the Gulfstream G650.

Rolls-Royce is the market leader in the corporate market and powers the fastest, the longest-range, and the largest business jets. In the past decade, its engines have powered seven new business jets into service, contributing to a total Rolls-Royce powered corporate fleet of more than 2,400 aircraft.

Jet Aviation Basel is a world-renowned completions and maintenance center employing more than 1,600 professionals. The facility has in-house design and engineering departments, along with on-site cabinetry, upholstery, fiberglass and paint shops. The organization is capable of outfitting jets as large as an Airbus A380 or the Boeing 747-8 series and has already completed numerous Airbus 319ACJ, A320, A330, A340 and Boeing B737, B757, B767 and B747-400 aircraft. Jet Aviation Basel also provides aircraft maintenance and repair services to a wide variety of business jets. It is a factory approved service center by Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Dassault, Embraer and Gulfstream. The location also holds a jet aircraft repair station rating by the FAA #QV1Y440K, and the EASA #CH.145.0232 in addition to approval certificates of 21 other national aviation authorities.

Jet Aviation Dubai’s maintenance and FBO location was established in May 2005 as a joint venture company with the AL Mulla Group. The facility holds EASA #145.0317 maintenance approval and is an FAA #U8JY426Y repair station. It also holds Bahrain CAA, Bermuda DCA, Cayman CAA, India DGCA, San Marino CAA, Saudi Arabia GACA and UAE GCAA approvals. Jet Aviation Dubai is an authorized service center for maintenance and warranty support to Boeing BBJ, the Gulfstream G150, G200, GIV and GV, G450, G550 and G650 series, the Dassault Falcon 900, 2000 and 7X series, and full service capability for Hawker Beechcraft 800/900 series, Airbus ACJ series and Embraer Legacy aircraft, including L4 and L12 inspections. The company expanded its VIP handling service delivery to Al Maktoum International Airport at Dubai World Central (DWC) in December 2012.

Jet Aviation Geneva was founded in 1969 and offers maintenance, refurbishment and FBO services. The company provides complete maintenance, repair and avionics support to private and corporate operators. As a manufacturer’s authorized warranty service center, Jet Aviation Geneva specializes in base maintenance for Gulfstream II/III/IV/V/200/300/350/400/450/500/550/650 aircraft; for the Bombardier Global Express series, including the G6000 version; and for Boeing BBJ. In addition, the location holds authorization to perform maintenance on Hawker 750/800XP/850XP/900XP aircraft and the Dassault Falcon 50/900/2000 series. The facility is an EASA #CH.145.0210 and FAA #CD5Y775M approved repair station and also holds approvals for Aruba, Bermuda, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and the Cayman Islands.

Jet Aviation Moscow Vnukovo provides 24/7 technical maintenance services, including line maintenance, defect rectification and AOG services, at Vnukovo International Airport to Bombardier, Gulfstream, Embraer and Hawker aircraft operators. As part of Jet Aviation’s global MRO network, the company supports AOG requirements throughout the Russian region. Jet Aviation Moscow Vnukovo is a line maintenance, AOG and authorized warranty line service facility for Bombardier aircraft products as well as an authorized line service facility for the full line of Gulfstream jets. Located next to the Vnukovo 3 FBO, the facility holds maintenance approvals from EASA #145.0472, Aruba DCA, Cayman CAA and Bermuda DCA.

Jet Aviation Singapore provides scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, aircraft repair, defect troubleshooting and rectifications and aircraft modifications. In addition, the company offers interior refurbishment, avionics modification and exterior painting services. Jet Aviation Singapore holds repair station approvals from various countries, including FAA #J8MY465N and EASA #145.0461. It is a Factory Authorized Service Center and Warranty Repair Facility for the Gulfstream series, an Authorized Service Center for the Nextant 400XT aircraft and a Boeing BBJ line maintenance station. Located at Seletar Airport, the company also offers FBO services in Singapore at Seletar and Changi International airports.
