Embraer Executive Jets Exhibits Aircraft and Services Portfolio at EBACE 2014

For the first time at EBACE, the Legacy 500 midsize jet will be showcased for visitation. Also at the static display will be the entry-level Phenom 100, the Phenom 300 light jet, the large Legacy 650, and the ultra-large Lineage 1000E.

Paris, France, 15, May, 2014 – Embraer Executive Jets will promote its full aircraft portfolio and Customer Support and Services solutions at the 14th European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE), at Geneva’s Palexpo Exhibition Center, in Switzerland, during May 20-23. Embraer Executive Jets will receive guests at Booth Number 6615, Hall 6. Journalists are invited to the Company’s Press Conference, to be held on Monday, May 19, in Hall 3, Room Q, at 12:00 noon.

About Embraer Executive Jets

Lineage 1000E

The ultra-large Lineage 1000E is Embraer’s largest executive jet and can carry up to 19 passengers in five cabin zones. The enhanced interior design of the Lineage 1000E is reflected in the new seats, electric doors, refreshed galley and cabinetry design, automatic tables, improved acoustic comfort, and other cabin amenities.

The aircraft features the fully digital, high definition, Honeywell Ovation Select entertainment and cabin management system, controlled with an iPad. A fully integrated Media Center conveniently concentrates multiple media devices and video inputs, including game consoles, and delivers high definition video and audio on a 5.1 surround sound system.

The aircraft’s range of 4,600 nautical miles (8,519 kilometers) with eight passengers, including NBAA IFR fuel reserves, means that the jet is able to fly nonstop from London to Beijing, or London to Miami.

The Lineage 1000E is equipped with the latest electronic fly-by-wire flight control system, and offers the optional Autoland, which conducts approach, touch down, and a five-second rollout, when the autopilot is engaged. The Lineage 1000E is available with the optional Embraer Enhanced Vision System (E2VS), which bundles Head Up Displays (HUD) and an Enhanced Vision System (EVS).

Legacy 650

The large Legacy 650 comfortably carries up to 14 passengers with privacy in three distinct cabin zones, and premium acoustic comfort. In addition to the best-in-class galley and a fully accessible in-flight baggage compartment that surpasses in size even those of most ultra-long range business jets, the aircraft may be configured with up to two lavatories. The Legacy 650 features internet connectivity and the latest generation in full HD in-flight entertainment, with Honeywell’s Ovation Select entertainment and cabin management system.

The Legacy 650 features advanced navigation capabilities and the Honeywell Primus Elite™ avionics suite. The Legacy 650 has a range of 3,900 nautical miles (7,223 kilometers) with four passengers, with NBAA IFR fuel reserves, which means that the aircraft can fly nonstop from London to New York, or Moscow to Shanghai.

Legacy 500

The midsize Legacy 500 has the best-in-class six-foot flat-floor cabin, which is even wider than some aircraft in the super midsize category. Eight club seats may be berthed into four beds for complete rest in a cabin altitude of 6,000 feet. The in-flight entertainment system consists of a high definition video system, surround sound, multiple audio and video input options, a cabin management system, and three options for voice communications and connectivity.

The Legacy 500 is the first midsize business jet with Full Fly-By-Wire technology, featuring side stick flight controls, the state-of-the-art Pro Line Fusion avionics suite on four 15-inch high resolution LCD displays, and capable of paperless operations, with graphical flight planning, and options like electronic Jeppesen charts and maps, and the E2VS (Embraer Enhanced Vision System), which includes a Head Up Display (HUD) with the Enhanced Vision System (EVS).

With a range of 3,000 nautical miles (5,556 kilometers) with four passengers, including NBAA IFR fuel reserves, means that the jet is able to fly nonstop from London to Dubai, or Moscow to Addis Abeba.

Phenom 300

The Phenom 300 performs among the top light jets, with a high speed cruise of 453 knots and a six-occupant range of 1,971 nautical miles (3,650 km) with NBAA IFR reserves. This range allows nonstop flights from London to Moscow, or Moscow to Cairo. With the best climb and field performance in its class, the Phenom 300 costs less to operate and maintain than its peers. The aircraft is capable of flying at 45,000 feet (13,716 meters), powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW535E engines with 3,200 pounds of thrust each.

The Phenom 300 offers a spacious cabin, designed in partnership with BMW Designworks USA, and the largest baggage compartment in its category. The largest windows in the class deliver abundant natural lighting in the cabin as well as in the aft private lavatory. The comfort of the seats, with recline and full movement capability, is enhanced by the best pressurization among light jets (6,600 ft. maximum cabin altitude). The Phenom 300 features distinct temperature zones for pilots and passengers, a wardrobe and refreshment center, voice and data communications options, and an entertainment system.

The pilot-friendly cockpit enables single-pilot operation and offers the advanced Prodigy Touch Flight Deck option. The features it carries from a class above include single-point refueling, externally serviced lavatory, and an air stair.
