Elliott Aviation Hires Randy Soutiere as Vice President of Operational Support – Appoints Ed Chevrestt VP of Operations

Moline, IL, May 5, 2014 - Elliott Aviation, a leader in many aviation services, today announced the hire of Randy Soutiere as Vice President of Operational Support. In his new role, Soutiere will oversee several departments including engineering, quality control, customer support, lean manufacturing, parts and FBO services. The newly created position is part of an organizational restructuring that appoints Ed Chevrestt to the new position of VP of Operations. The changes represent Elliott Aviation’s focus to increase customer support and dedicate extra resources and expertise to technical aspects of the business.

Soutiere’s nearly 30 years of experience in the Aviation include a long career with Cessna where he was most recently the General Manager of the Mesa, AZ, facility. While at Cessna, he launched the Mesa facility, introduced lean concepts as a six-sigma black belt and helped create ProTech, a program to pay for scheduled maintenance ahead of the maintenance event. Soutiere is a licensed pilot and A&P mechanic.

Chevrestt joined Elliott Aviation in 2013 as service manager and has quickly shown leadership skills that have further enhanced the Elliott Aviation customer and employee experience. In his new role, he will be responsible for on-time completions of Elliott Aviation’s operational disciplines at their Moline headquarters including Maintenance, Paint, Interior, Avionics and Accessory repair and overhaul. Prior to joining Elliott Aviation, Chevrestt was the Operations and Paint Manager of Aircraft Completions at Hawker Beechcraft Little Rock.

“In order to continue to deliver on our values of unmatched quality, uncompromising integrity and unbeatable customer service, it is essential to continually evolve the way we do business and deliver for our customers,” said Greg Sahr, President of Elliott Aviation. “Randy and Ed bring together a highly desirable skill set and many years of wisdom to continually develop and enhance each customer experience.”
