TETERBORO, N.J. / April 17, 2014 – Jet Aviation Flight Services successfully advances to International
Standard – Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) stage 3 certification from the International Business
Aviation Council.

IS-BAO requires flight departments to analyze processes in day-to-day operations and provides managers with
tools to foster an environment where safety, efficiency and a commitment to continuous improvement are
integrated into all operations. A performance-based assessment, IS-BAO stage 3 is the final step in a rigorous
five-year process. This certification specifically recognizes compliance with the highest IS-BAO standards and
practices following an in-depth audit and rating of the Safety Management System (SMS), including a detailed
analysis of operational performance data.

“Jet Aviation is proud to join the small and distinguished group of operators worldwide who have successfully
earned IS-BAO stage 3 certification,” said Don Haloburdo, vice president and general manager, Jet Aviation
Flight Services. “Stage three verifies that safety management activities are fully integrated into our business
and that a positive safety culture is being sustained. Attaining the highest level of IS-BAO accreditation
acknowledges Jet Aviation’s commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.”
