Exova is one of the world's largest dedicated testing groups, trusted by organisations to test and advise on the safety, quality and performance of their products and operations.

Exova, the global testing, calibration and advisory services provider, has appointed Paul Fournet as general manager of its new flagship aerospace testing facility in Toulouse, France.

Paul has spent over two years as Operations Manager at the Toulouse facility and played a key role in the development of the new specialist laboratory. He succeeds Pascal Escola who has been promoted to European sales director for aerospace.

Prior to joining Exova, Paul held a variety of operational roles with Faurecia Exhaust in the USA and France, with a specific focus on the implementation of lean principles to increase production efficiency.

Stuart Abbs, Exova’s director of aerospace in Europe, said: “Paul brings a wealth of production management and engineering experience to his new role, as well as an in-depth knowledge of the aerospace market. He will play a key role in advancing our provision of technically demanding services to the aerospace supply chain both in the Aerospace Cluster around Toulouse and worldwide.
