ATLANTA, April 10, 2014 – Delta TechOps, Delta Air Lines’ maintenance division and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) provider business, is deepening its long-standing relationship with Hawaiian Airlines to provide an integrated component exchange and repair program for Hawaiian’s fleet of 12 Boeing 767 aircraft.
“We’re delighted to add these additional component services to our long-standing customer relationship with Hawaiian Airlines,” said Peter Turner, vice president Delta TechOps MRO “Component maintenance is fast becoming one of Delta TechOps most sought-after offerings and we continue to explore opportunities to expand our components portfolio for customers.”
Delta TechOps has provided its Complete Fleet services for Hawaiian since 2009 across its Airbus A330 fleet. Today’s announcement furthers that relationship to include component maintenance such as avionics and cabin maintenance for Hawaiian’s Boeing 767 fleet.
“Selecting Delta TechOps for this additional components support was a natural fit for our network and fleet given Delta’s extensive institutional knowledge of the 767 and its U.S. West Coast infrastructure,” said Lorrin Sardinha, vice president – Maintenance and Engineering at Hawaiian Airlines. “We look forward to a mutually successful MRO partnership with Delta TechOps.”
