JetSuite Announces Appointment Of Frank Buratti As Vice President Technical And System Operations

Buratti brings nearly 30 years of operations experience in the aviation sector and has overseen maintenance for hundreds of high-utilization commercial jets.

IRVINE, Calif., April 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- JetSuite, the nation's fastest growing private jet charter company, today announced the appointment of Frank Buratti as its Vice President Technical and System Operations. Buratti brings nearly 30 years of operations experience in the aviation sector and has overseen maintenance for hundreds of high-utilization commercial jets.

In addition to his work as Director System Operations at JetBlue Airways, Buratti has also served the airline in leadership roles including Safety and Director of Maintenance. During his 14+ year career at JetBlue, Buratti oversaw all line, maintenance control and heavy maintenance and helped develop JetBlue's Technical Operations Training manual as well as its safety incident tracking system. Prior positions include Deputy Maintenance Manager at El Al Israel and Avionics Technician at Pan American Airlines.  Buratti served in the United States Air Force for four years as a Crew Chief on the F5 at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada.

Buratti holds a Bachelors Degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology from The College of Aeronautics. He also achieved an MBA in Aviation Management from Dowling College.
