Procurement by MHI will include preparations for ramp-up production

Nagoya, April 1, 2014 – Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation transferred its procurement department to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) on April 1, 2014 to build a system in which MHI, the manufacturer of the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ), will handle the entire procurement process when MRJ enters the production stage. Procurement by MHI will include preparations for ramp-up production. MITAC continues to engage in procurement for development and testing aircraft. Mitsubishi Aircraft and MHI remain firmly committed to building a sustainable relationship with each partner company as well as achieving the success of the MRJ program.
