WEST CHICAGO, Ill. -- NationAir Aviation Insurance has added Dirk Olsen to its team of aviation insurance professionals as director of business insurance, NationAir President Jeffrey Bauer announced.
“Many of our clients, especially airports and fixed base operators, have complex insurance needs that transcend aviation insurance,” Bauer said. “Dirk’s broad knowledge of business insurance ensures that these clients will receive the right coverage from the best carriers.”
Olsen is based in NationAir’s corporate headquarters at the DuPage Airport in suburban Chicago. He oversees the company’s growing portfolio of property and casualty policies essential to proper coverage for many NationAir clients, both nationally and internationally. This ranges from property, automobile and environmental exposures to assistance with professional and management liability programs. Olsen also establishes and maintains market relationships with a number of carriers that serve the best interests of NationAir’s clients.
Olsen draws on more than 30 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry and earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Southern Illinois University. A resident of west suburban Woodridge, Ill., he volunteers with Almost Home Kids, which provides transitional care for children with complex medical needs.
