RONKONKOMA, NY, March 31, 2014 – Hawthorne Global Aviation Services today announced expanded maintenance operations at its Long Island MacArthur Airport (KISP) location. It has added a second shift to provide extended private jet maintenance hours, seven days a week.
“With the increased demand for our maintenance services from our in-house, retail and transient customers, we extended our hours to provide our customers with the added convenience of maintenance services whenever they need them and to minimize downtime,” said Ralph Michielli, Vice President and Director of Maintenance, Hawthorne Global Aviation Services. “With our heritage in aircraft maintenance, this expansion of services further solidifies our position as a world-class private jet service maintenance provider.”
Hawthorne Global Aviation provides a full range of private jet maintenance services at its MacArthur Airport location, including airframe and avionics capabilities. An FAA Approved Repair Station since 1985, it has a team of 20 technicians and support staff that provide maintenance and support to the aviation industry and for sister company ExcelAire’s fleet of over 20 private aircraft. It is a factory authorized Embraer Legacy service center, and also has substantial experience in Gulfstream, Bombardier, Falcon, and Hawker aircraft maintenance. Hawthorne also offers interior modification and refurbishment, and non-destructive testing.
The Hawthorne facility at MacArthur Airport includes a state-of-the-art fully-staffed FBO offering Shell products.
