The pending STC is for single or dual GTN 650/750 fully integrated GPS/NAV/COMM. It also includes WAAS approvals and will certify the aircraft for fully autopilot coupled GPS LPV approaches.

March 14, 2014, AEA Convention, Nashville, TN…JETTECH, a leader in developing affordable aftermarket aircraft solutions, announced today a pending FAA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for installing the touchscreen Garmin GTN 650/750 GPS/NAV/COM on the Cessna Citation Jet (CJ) model 525 for aircraft manufactured from 1993-1999 with Serial Numbers 0001-0359.

The pending STC is for single or dual GTN 650/750 fully integrated GPS/NAV/COMM. It also includes WAAS approvals and will certify the aircraft for fully autopilot coupled GPS LPV approaches.

Once approved, JETTECH will offer the STC’d data package through authorized Garmin dealers and will include full support through the installation process.

“Now, early model CJ owners and operators can receive the full benefit of a new, fully integrated glass panel and have access to instrumentation that would otherwise be limited or not available due to space restrictions,” said Rob Irwin, founder and member/manager of JETTECH. “This installation will provide a greater range of choices and price points.”

The large, six inch tall high-definition touchscreen offers access to a variety of displays including terrain mapping, graphical flight planning, geo-referenced charting, traffic display and satellite weather.

In addition to the pending STC for the CJ Garmin GTN 650/750 installation, JETTECH also holds the STC for a similar installation for the Citation 500 Series as well as the previously announced STC for the G600 install on Legacy Citations. JETTECH has also secured an STC for installing the Garmin G600 RVSM for the Cheyenne III, IIIA & 400LS models.
