NATA Announces 2014 AMT Employer Recognition Award Recipients

This award is presented annually to companies that employ aviation maintenance technicians (AMTs) and provide a minimum number of hours of new and recurrent training to those AMTs on an annual basis.

Alexandria, VA, March 11, 2014 – The National Air Transportation Association is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2014 AMT Employer Recognition Award. This award is presented annually to companies that employ aviation maintenance technicians (AMTs) and provide a minimum number of hours of new and recurrent training to those AMTs on an annual basis. Award winners receive either a one, three or five star award depending on the percentage of employed AMTs receiving the minimum training.

For 2014, two companies received the one star award, five companies received the three star award and 38 companies received the five star award.

“We are very excited that participation in the annual AMT employer recognition award program continues to grow,” said NATA President and CEO, Thomas L. Hendricks. “Each business receiving this award demonstrates their commitment to providing high quality training to their AMTs and we are proud to be able to honor them.”
