The report paints a picture of a vibrant $57.7 billion global commercial MRO industry that is expected to grow to $86.8 billion in the next decade. The study also finds that the commercial and business aviation MRO and parts manufacturing/distribution industries combined generate $44.4 billion in economic activity in the United States and employs 244,000 workers across the country. Other issues addressed in the report include the flow of trade between various regions and market conditions in specific maintenance sub-sectors (airframe, engine, component and line maintenance).
