March 3, 2014
This new certification positions CJS to better serve Brooksville – Tampa Bay Regional Airport & Technology Center (BKV) and the region with increased maintenance capabilities.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) presented Corporate Jet Solutions, Inc. (CJS) with its new Part 145 Repair Station Certification, that occurred Thursday, Feb. 27, at 9 a.m. CJS is located at the Brooksville – Tampa Bay Regional Airport & Technology Center (BKV).

Attending the event included members of the Brooksville-Tampa Bay airport management, Hernando County Airport Commission, and local government officials.  This new certification positions CJS to better serve BKV and the region with increased maintenance capabilities.

“Before now, if aircraft operators needed maintenance while travelling through Florida’s west coast, their choices were limited,” said Steve Young, director of technical sales. “Now, not only do jet operators have AOG and unscheduled maintenance support, but as an authorized FAA repair station provider, they also have additional scheduled heavy maintenance available. Operators can plan ahead to have inspections completed while enjoying the Tampa Bay area or Florida’s Nature Coast. BKV is perfectly located for pilots wishing to avoid larger airports, resulting in a positive economic impact to our community.”

CJS Repair Station capabilities includes Hawker 125 SERIES 1A-1000, BEECHJET 400A/400XP, King Air Series, and Piper single piston series. Corporate Jet Solutions has 17 full-time and two contract employees. It expects that new business generated from the repair shop will require them to hire more employees in the future.
