Of the licenses granted to Ontic in 2013, six were with OEMs that included Curtiss-Wright, Safran Power Systems, and United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS) with a total annual sales value in excess of $30M annually.
The licensed products cover a range of technology that includes Sophisticated Electronics such as Logic Modules, Smoke Detector Sensors, Power Supplies and Power Converters; Electro-Mechanical such as Fuel Quantity Indicators, Fans and Blowers, Motors and Actuators; Gas Turbine Starters and other Aircraft Accessories. The platforms supported cover a wide range of helicopter platforms including the Sikorsky S-70/Blackhawk, CH-47 Chinook, AH-64 Apache and MD500 helicopters, as well as other commercial transport, military and business platforms including the Sukhoi Superjet 100, Boeing 747, 767, and B757, Aerostats and Blimps, Patriot and Aegis missile systems, F-15 Fighter, Challenger, CRJ 700/900, AV-8B Harrier II, 737NG and C-130J.
All of the products will be transitioned via Ontic’s proven adoption process from the OEMs to Ontic facilities worldwide. Ontic will provide the customers with complete support including production and aftermarket manufacturing and MRO services.
