National Award Given to Local Aviation Mechanic

NATA will present this year's General Aviation Service Technician award to Jack J. Vazquez, Director of Maintenance for Bergstrom Aircraft, Inc., for his more than 35 years of providing the highest quality aircraft maintenance services to general aviation.

Tri-Citian Jack J. Vazquez has been selected to receive the 2014 Aviation Service Technician Award from the National Aviation Transportation Association (NATA).   

NATA honors exceptional individuals in the aviation industry with this annual award.  Jack and his wife Patsy will travel to Washington DC in March to receive his award.  

The ATP/NATA General Aviation Service Technician Award (sponsored by Aircraft Technical Publishers) acknowledges the exceptional performance of a licensed Airframe and Powerplant mechanic who has practiced his or her craft for a period of 20 or more years. 

NATA will present this year’s award to Mr. Jack J. Vazquez, Director of Maintenance for Bergstrom Aircraft, Inc., for his more than 35 years of providing the highest quality aircraft maintenance services to general aviation. His commitment to safety and service is an inspiration to his team and his outstanding reputation has built a large customer base at Bergstrom Aircraft, Inc. In addition, Mr. Vazquez is dedicated to developing modification kits in an effort to keep general aviation safe and affordable for everyone.
