Yingling's conversion of an EagleMed LLC King Air is indicative of its broadened range of comprehensive maintenance, modification and support capabilities which now encompasses the Beechcraft King Air and all 500 Series Cessna Citations including the CJ models.

Wichita, KS—The recent announcement of Yingling Aviation’s selection to convert a Beechcraft King Air B200 from a standard executive interior to a critical care medical configuration highlights another aspect of the expanding services being offered by the long-time Maintenance Repair Operation (MRO) and Fixed Base Operator (FBO) located at Wichita’s Mid-Continent Airport.  Widely known for its popular OASIS interior modifications to Cessna’s Model 208 Caravans, Yingling’s conversion of an EagleMed LLC King Air is indicative of its broadened range of comprehensive maintenance, modification and support capabilities which now encompasses the Beechcraft King Air and all 500 Series Cessna Citations including the CJ models.

“The addition of the King Air to the list of aircraft we support is in line with our extensive experience with numerous turboprop models, not just those manufactured by Cessna,” explained Jerry Pickett, Yingling’s Vice President of Customer Programs. “In recent years, we have been involved in a continual expansion of our services and are well-equipped to offer engine, airframe, avionics, propeller and parts support in addition to interior modifications for a variety of airframes, including King Airs.  We have also seen a notable increase in our maintenance activity for 500 Series Citations, including the CJ models, over the past 12 months.  These opportunities are in addition to the ongoing services we continue to provide for legacy Cessna pistons and turboprops.”

In addition to being an FAA and EASA Approved Part 145 repair station, Yingling has also continued to enhance its FBO facilities and the amenities it offers to customers. It recently opened the Vertigo Lounge, a restful and well-appointed retreat for transient pilots that offers on-site sleeping accommodations, work stations, a coffee bar, flat-screen television and entertainment center away from outside distractions.  “We are committed to meeting all of the needs of a diverse range of customers, including crew members who are seeking a place to relax between trip legs, awaiting the completion of AOG maintenance or looking for a place to catch up on some paperwork.  Our goal is to make Yingling a preferred stop-over location for pilots and passengers by providing for all of their needs in a pleasantly memorable manner,” Pickett stated.  Yingling also offers one of the country’s most popular pilot shops, the Aviator’s Attic, a source for just about everything a pilot needs, including aviation-related gifts, training manuals, books, handheld avionics, and apparel.
