SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE--(Marketwired - Feb. 12, 2014) - Bombardier Aerospace announced that it will be adding full service interior refurbishment capabilities to its comprehensive line and heavy maintenance offering at its wholly owned Singapore service centre located at Seletar Airport in Singapore. Flying Colours Corp. has been selected to offer these services on site to all Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global business jets.

"Only a day after our inauguration ceremony, we are proud to say that the agreement with Flying Colours Corp. will provide us with an advantage over our competitors in the Asia-Pacific region, as we are the first facility to provide a comprehensive range of service offerings to our customers in one place," said Stan Younger, Vice President, Aircraft Service Centres, Bombardier Aerospace. "With its wealth of experience in completions and maintenance on Bombardier aircraft, we are confident that Flying Colours Corp. will deliver first-class interior refurbishment and reconfiguration services for our Asia-Pacific customers, directly through our Singapore facility."

Flying Colours Corp., the Ontario, Canada-based aviation company specializing in business aircraft completions, maintenance and refurbishments, has been contracted to perform interior work on all Bombardier business jet models. With the agreement taking place immediately, its dedicated team of trained technicians will deliver a full range of services, including preliminary interior inspection, interior removal and installation, interior repair work, interior modification work and interior refurbishment work. Nearly 25 years since its founding, Flying Colours Corp. was appointed a Bombardier business aircraft Authorized Service Facility in 2012 and has performed completions on business aircraft since 2008.

"This new collaboration with Bombardier is a great opportunity for us. We are very excited to be bringing our interior service offerings to the Asia-Pacific region by joining forces with Bombardier in their new Singapore service centre", said Eric Gillespie, Executive VP at Flying Colours Corp.

A total of approximately 250 Bombardier business jets are currently based in Greater China, India and the Asia-Pacific region.

Bombardier's service centre at Singapore's Seletar airport is one of 10 OEM service centres worldwide. Since it began serving customers in November 2013, the facility has responded to a growing demand for services, including heavy maintenance tasks such as C-Checks on Global aircraft and AOG support across the Asia-Pacific region. The Singapore service centre was inaugurated on February 11, coinciding with the Singapore Airshow.

All Bombardier-owned service centres are backed by the company's 24/7 technical help desks, in-service engineering teams and support staff deployed in Regional Support Offices (RSOs) and other locations around the world.
