Alexandria, VA, February 4, 2014 – The National Air Transportation Association is celebrating a highly successful first year anniversary of the NATA Workers’ Compensation Insurance Program™, administered exclusively by Beacon Aviation Insurance Services. This rapidly growing program is currently available in forty-seven states nationwide and covers all types of businesses that operate in the aviation arena.

“NATA is thrilled with the growth and member acceptance of this program in its inaugural year. Our participating members are finding the EZ Pay option plans, quicker dividend payouts and up-front rewards for those with the best worker safety experience to be the most attractive benefits of this program,” said NATA President & CEO Thomas L. Hendricks.

Backed by A-Rated Companion P&C (a subsidiary of Blue Cross Blue Shield), this program includes maximum allowable credits, in-house underwriting by the Beacon Aviation Insurance staff, and an industry-leading dividend program that pays as much as 18% in just 10 short months after policy expiration. This rapid dividend program is unmatched in the workers’ compensation industry. In addition, NATA members participating in NATA’s Safety 1st programs are given preferential pricing where permitted by applicable state insurance regulations. Demonstrating their commitment to our nation’s wounded warriors, Beacon Aviation Insurance Services is making donations to the Veterans Airlift Command, an organization long-supported by NATA, for every new NATA Workers’ Compensation Insurance Program™ enrollment.

“It has been a wonderful opportunity for Beacon, and we absolutely enjoy working with the management and staff at NATA,” said John Cunningham, President and CEO of Beacon Aviation Insurance Services. “This program is growing in ways that we’re very excited about.”

“Beacon truly understands the general aviation services industry and the goals of our association members. We look forward to leveraging our strong relationship with Beacon by offering expanded products through the program in the near future. NATA highly encourages our members to notify their insurance agents to obtain a quote for the NATA Workers’ Compensation Insurance Program™,” added Hendricks.

NATA and Beacon will have a presence at upcoming events in 2014, including Heli-Expo and NBAA’s Annual Conference as well as NATA’s Aviation Business & Legislative Conference, Air Charter Summit and FBO Success Seminar.  These highly visible opportunities will help to ensure all NATA members and potential members are aware of the extensive benefits of this program.
