Eaton's Aerospace Facilities in Georgia and Michigan Awarded for Excellent Supplier Performance by Defense Logistics Agency

CLEVELAND … Power management company Eaton has announced that its aerospace facilities in Toccoa, Ga., and Jackson, Mich., were recently recognized for exceptional supplier performance by the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, which provides supplies to America's military forces worldwide.

Both facilities received bronze awards for achieving 12-month scores of 98 to 98.9 percent in the DLA’s Automated Best Value Supplier evaluation system, which collects vendor performance data for quality and delivery and translates it into a numeric score ranging from zero to 100.

The Eaton facilities manufacture components for a broad array of military aircraft fleets, including AH-64, CH-53E, MH-60, UH-60 and V-22 helicopters; F-15, F-16 and F-18 fighter jets; and AC-130, B-1B and C-130 airplanes.

DLA Land and Maritime manages almost 2 million spare parts and supports more than 145,000 customers in the military services, civilian agencies and other Department of Defense organizations.
