Baltic Aviation Academy Expands Ground Handling Training Program

Jan. 23, 2014

Aviation Training Centre, Baltic Aviation Academy, which added ground handling training program to its wide range of services offered in December of 2013, is now expanding the program with additional services.

Baltic Aviation Academy’s ground handling training programs are designed according to the IATA and EASA Ground Handling Training requirements. This assures that the training provided is optimized and harmonized with the safety standards for ground operations in all the regions. Starting in February of 2014, Baltic Aviation Academy will be offering additional Ground Handling Training services which will include: full range of training programs for all types of ground, passenger and equipment handling; lease of specialists and IATA approved instructors for all the training needs; assessment, employment and training on the company ground; auditing of safety and service related services and equipment with comprehensive findings and solutions; preparation of related documentation and manuals for approvals, safety conduct and workflow; establishment of practices and workflow patterns for new companies; and equipment brokerage, selling and buying.

„The reason we are starting to offer the additional Ground Handling Training services is because many times, companies need an outside source to make realistic situation analysis, establish new workflow standards, or have no inside resources for the new employee training. Baltic Aviation Academy strives to be a reliable large-scale resource for the ground handling companies around the world and by expanding our services we are trying to help them reach their peak performance”, commented Dainius Meilunas, Deputy General Director for Training at Baltic Aviation Academy.
