January 7, 2014: Fort Worth, TX: The Flying Musicians Association members are flying south to a warmer climate – Sebring, Florida -- for the 10th annual U.S. Sport Aviation Expo.  FMA will provide live music daily during lunch in the Show Center tent, powered by Aviators Hotline, January 16th through the 19th.  Additionally, FMA will staff an information table, present Symphony in the Sky: A Correlation between Aviation and Music, and be on the air with Expo Radio daily at 10:30am.

John Zapp, President/CEO of FMA, said, “We are excited about celebrating the 10th U.S. Sport Aviation Expo with friends, fellow pilots, and musicians from around the world at the first major aviation event of 2014, our fifth year of existence.  This year especially, FMA will see the convergence of efforts made by hundreds to fulfill our mission and outreach.”

Members will be migrating to Sebring from Texas, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Indiana, North Carolina -- and we suspect other frigid parts of the country.  Stop by the Show Center tent to learn more about FMA and enjoy lunch and music daily from 11:30-1:30.  Catch our presentation, Symphony in the Sky: A Correlation between Aviation and Music on Thursday and Saturday at 2:15pm in forum area #3, to find out why musicians are natural pilots.  Listen daily at 10:30am to interviews on Expo Radio online at www.liveatc.net/expo with FMA life member Dave Shallbetter.
