TAP M&E Brazil is the leader in Latin America and in the Southern Hemisphere in aircraft maintenance and will be taking part in “MRO Latin America”, the first edition of the “Conference & Showcase” regarding aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) in this region, which will take place January 21 and 22, 2014, at the Windsor Atlântica Hotel, in Rio de Janeiro.
Besides the Company’s sponsorship of the event, its Vice President of Operations (COO), Valter Fernandes, will be one of the speakers on the first day, giving a speech on MRO Latin America business, and assistant Vice President Nelson Vaz will be participating on the second day in the Panel Discussion on proven strategies of the continuous improvement process.
However, the major emphasis is on the Facility Tour, where participants in the event will have an opportunity to visit the Company’s facilities and see the biggest hangar in Latin America, at 14,500 m2, while getting to know the day-to-day routines of a maintenance center and learning about its main processes.
