Thales announces that the Interstate Aviation Committee-Aviation Register of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries have recognised the Thales Customer Support Center located in Châtellerault, France, the AP145 Maintenance Agreement.

This certification, in conjunction with the FAP145 Agreement granted to the Group in July 2012, allows Thales to release to service, components fitted across aircraft registered in the entire CIS, both manufactured inside Russia and the CIS, like the Sukhoi SSJ100, on which the group equips the TopDeck avionics suite, and internationally.

Thales is now one of the very first  western organisations holding both these certifications, giving the group the expertise and knowledge to provide other international suppliers with assistance and advice in their efforts to obtain FAP145 and AP15 certifications for their respective maintenance facilities.
