Vector Aerospace's five year growth strategy has highlighted the commercial aviation market as a prime sector for development - leveraging its experience and knowledge in defence to achieve similar results in the civil market.

Vector Aerospace UK (Vector - www.vectoraerospace.com/), a leading provider of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, has announced the successful completion of its first component repair contract for a major commercial fixed wing airline operator.

"Traditionally we have successfully supported military rotary and fixed wing customers from our base in Perth, Scotland," said Mick O'Connor, the Component Services Director at Vector Aerospace. "The order demonstrates our continued progress and commitment to the Almondbank site - verifying the effectiveness of the company's unique MRO services model."
