EAA AVIATION CENTER, OSHKOSH, Wis. — (Nov. 19, 2013) — A prime flightline oasis available only to EAA members and their guests returns to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in 2014 as the Aviators Club pavilion will again offer extra amenities during The World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration.

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2014 is July 28-August 3 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh.

Located near the famed “Brown Arch” at Oshkosh, the Aviators Club is an additional opportunity for EAA members to enjoy the event with additional comfort and extras that include prime air show seating, air conditioning, and breakfast and lunch each day during AirVenture. Proceeds from admissions to the Aviators Club, which is presented by Shell Aviation, are directed to the Young Eagles program and EAA’s other aviation education and preservation activities.

“The Aviators Club has been at or near capacity each day over the past three years since it was introduced to EAA members, so we’re pleased to bring it back for 2014,” said Jack Pelton, EAA’s chairman of the board. “Members told us they wanted a special place that was accessible only by EAA members and their guests with these extra amenities throughout the week. It’s also important to us that the proceeds from this facility go directly toward EAA’s mission of growing participation in aviation.”

Passes for the Aviators Club are available for EAA member on a daily or weekly basis. Breakfast and lunch are served each day during AirVenture, with dinner served prior to the night air shows on Wednesday, July 30 and Saturday, August 2. Passes are available in advance through the www.airventure.org advance ticket website, with any remaining passes for each day available at the AirVenture entrance gates.

“We are committed to the Aviators Club concept as a way to thank EAA members for their support of us through the years,” said Buddy Stallings, president of Eastern Aviation Fuels, which represents Shell Aviation. “It’s a great place for EAAers who want those extra perks to relax, enjoy some hospitality, and get a great view of the one-and-only Oshkosh air shows.”
