Menzies Wins Contract With Malaysia Airlines At DRW

Airline returns to Australian airport after 12-year absence.

After a 12 year absence from the Northern Territory, Malaysia Airlines has made returned to Darwin International Airport and selected Menzies Aviation as its ground handler.

Malaysia Airlines commenced its four weekly flights on Nov. 2 for a term of two years and two months.

“The handling of our first flight was of an extremely high standard and we are very pleased with the service we are receiving, we look forward to working very closely with the Menzies team here in Darwin” said MH station head Mohammed Ismail Sulaiman.

With the introduction of Malaysia Airlines, Menzies now has a customer base of seven airlines operating a total of 169 flight per week.
