Jeppesen Fall Give-Away - Think Global Flight Announces Recpients

U.S.A., November 6, 2013.  Jeppesen and Think Global Flight are pleased to announce the recipients of the Fall Jeppesen Give-Away.  The recipients’ are eligible to choose from one of two Jeppesen Training Packages valued at approximately $500 - $900.

For every $1.00 donated to Think Global Flight, the supporter is entered to win one of two Jeppesen Packages.  The Jeppesen Training Package includes the Navigator flight bag, FAR/AIM  book, and choice of one online training course.  The second choice, the Jeppesen Navigation Package that includes one year full U.S. JeppView electronic chart (excludes avionics) subscription with free download of Jeppesen iPad app – Mobile FliteDeck, and Navigator flight bag.

Jeppesen’s generous support will help ‘fuel’ the excitement created as the Think Global Flight Crew travels the globe promoting education and inspiring students.  The project has succeeded in generating more than $900,000 toward the 1 million needed to accomplish the mission.  Currently more than 20,000 students and teachers are participating across the globe, in 25 countries and 31 U.S. States.   The FAA and Department of Education has recognized this high quality program for providing real world application to learning.

Raphael Soler, one of two Jeppesen fall recipients, is from Oxfordshire, UK.  Soler stated, "I couldn't have asked for a better addition to my training experience than the Jeppesen online training course for commercial pilots.  This is going to make my life so much easier."

Raphael adds, "As a student pilot and somebody with a great passion for flight I truly believe that aviation is an outstanding way of channeling inspiration to future generations and thus enabling them to achieve their hopes and dreams.  For this reason I admire and support what Think Global Flight does and hope that I will be able to contribute just as the Think Global Crew has."

The Spring Jeppesen Give-Away is underway now, and two recipients will win the packages of their choice right before the Think Global Flight departs this April at the Sun ‘n Fun air show in Lakeland, FL.
