Lufthansa Technik Joins Latin American & Caribbean Air Transport Association ALTA

The new ALTA membership is the latest step of Lufthansa Technik to strengthen its footprint in the booming Latin American aviation market.

Starting with November 2013, Lufthansa Technik, a worldwide leading supplier of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for commercial aircraft, becomes an affiliated member of ALTA - the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association.

Eduardo Iglesias, Executive Director of ALTA, commented Lufthansa Technik's joining: "We are pleased that Lufthansa Technik has joined ALTA's ranks. The new ALTA membership is the latest step of Lufthansa Technik to strengthen its footprint in the booming Latin American aviation market. The company is presently progressing its technical and sales presence within the Lain American region.
