Menzies Aviation is pleased to announce an important expansion of their relationship with Air China Cargo in North America following the award of their contract for the provision of cargo handling services at Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Vancouver with its close links to Asia is a key gateway for Air China in North America, where they currently operate 14 weekly flights.
This award follows closely on the company's success in securing the full handling service for Air China at Houston Intercontinental Airport for Air China’s service on a new route that commenced in July 2013, together with the successful renewal of their cargo handling contracts in San Francisco (SFO) and Los Angeles (LAX) as well as an offline station in Seattle, and with further exciting new opportunities currently under review for this fast expanding carrier.
These awards firmly establish Air China as a top ten customer for Menzies Aviation in North America for who we will now be handling over 55,000 tonnes of cargo per annum across five stations.
