Las Vegas, Nevada…NBAA…October 23, 2013 – In response to growing customer needs, Dallas Airmotive, a BBA Aviation company, announced plans to expand its support services in the Northeastern United States. A new regional field service representative and a mobile response vehicle capable of on-site inspections, repair work and carbon seal replacements will be added to the Westchester County Airport in White Plains, New York, one of the region’s most popular for business and general aviation aircraft. Additionally, field service representatives are being added throughout the region enhancing customer response time and ultimately reducing ground time for repairs.
“Building close customer relationships and being positioned to respond quickly to customer needs has always been a key to our success,” commented Dallas Airmotive President Douglas Meador. “In today’s environment, where more and more engine service is done in the field, we are responding by moving our personnel away from our major repair centers and closer to the customer.”
Dallas Airmotive spent considerable time studying the area’s traffic patterns and surveying customer needs before expanding services in the region.
“White Plains is a major hub of business aviation activity,” said Meador. “We’re basing dedicated staff and equipment at Signature Flight Support’s HPN facility so that operators out of this location will have immediate, on-site support whenever needed.”
Dallas Airmotive is also adding Field Service Representatives in the New York, Pittsburgh, and Cincinnati metropolitan areas and at Washington Dulles Airport. The expanded service team will ensure rapid response to service calls throughout the region. “We have more than 35 service locations around the globe, from major overhaul facilities to individual field operations,” stated Meador. “We believe our field support capabilities are a key facet towards providing comprehensive support services and competitive pricing for our customers.”
Dallas Airmotive and its affiliated engine companies – Premier Turbines and H+S Aviation – are OEM-approved to service more than 80% of the turbine engines in operation today on business aircraft. The engine companies have major overhaul centers in Dallas, Texas; Neosho, Missouri; and Portsmouth, England plus they offer minor repair and hot section inspection work at 12 Regional Turbine Centers around the globe.
