StandardAero Business Aviation Expands Airframe Maintenance Capabilities with New Embraer Authorization

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – October 22, 2013 – StandardAero Business Aviation announced that it has finalized a new OEM authorization with Embraer. 

The agreement is for support of the next generation Legacy 450/500 aircraft in StandardAero’s Augusta, GA (AGS), Houston, Texas (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX) facilities and is an expansion of its existing agreement with Embraer as an Authorized Service Center on the Legacy L600/L650. Today’s announcement fulfills the initial Letter of Intent (LOI) signed last October.

“This new authorization serves the long-term strategic needs of StandardAero Business Aviation in that it provides us with ‘next generation’ airframe MRO support capability on one of the bizjet market’s leading airframe OEMs,” said Marc McGowan, Senior Vice President, Business Aviation, StandardAero. “We are pleased to expand our current ASC agreement with Embraer and consider it as recognition of and confidence in, the quality and expertise of our team.”
