Blackhawk Names Robert A. Kromer as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Kromer is a 30-year industry veteran with experience and expertise in sales, marketing, and management.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada, October 21, 2013 – Blackhawk Modifications today announced that Robert A. “Bob” Kromer has joined the company in the role of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Kromer is a 30-year industry veteran with experience and expertise in Sales, Marketing, and Management.  

“Bob’s technical experience and global market knowledge will further strengthen and expand our depth and capability in these two extremely critical areas of the company,” said Blackhawk President and CEO Jim Allmon. “Building on a lifetime of aviation experience as a qualified pilot, flight test engineer, and in several senior level sales, marketing, and management positions, Bob brings an added dimension to the company,” Allmon added.

As a part of the Blackhawk team, Kromer continues a business aviation career that has included executive positions with Cessna Aircraft, Aero Design, Sino-Swearingen, Mooney Aircraft, Piper Aircraft and SimCom Training Centers.   

Kromer holds a Commercial Pilot License, as well as a Multi-Engine and Instrument rating. In addition, Bob holds a Flight Instructor license for single, multi-engine, and instrument.  Bob has over 3,000 hours of flight time in a variety of general aviation piston, turboprop and jet aircraft.

Kromer holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University. He also did additional engineering graduate studies at Wichita State University.

Bob and his wife, Marian will live in Waco, Texas.
